Boston Bound? Aston Magna at Brandeis Thursdays, 6/16-7/7

Boston bound in June and July, and looking for an early classical music fix? Aston Magna Festival performs at Brandeis, on Thursdays, June 16- July 7.

The Slosberg Music Center at Bard hosts the Aston Magna Festival each year, and this year’s events — with early music, played on period instruments, by virtuosos of instrumental and vocal work. Each concert includes a pre-concert talk at 6 p.m., so come early, relax, and hear about the cultural, political and musical context of the music you are about to enjoy.
