Violinist Edson Scheid Joins Aston Magna for Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons” and Bach

Great news for Aston Magna! Virtuoso violinist Edson Scheid will join Aston Magna July 16-18 for a celebration of Bach Cantatas and Vivaldi’s beloved “Four Seasons.” Mr. Scheid has twice won the Historical Performance Concerto Competition at Juilliard, and is the recipient of the Broadus Erle Prize at the Yale School of Music. He is a native of Brazil, and has performed as a soloist with orchestras such as Juilliard415, Sejong Soloists, Sinfonieorchester der Universität Mozarteum Salzburg and the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra. He has toured in Asia, Europe, South America and the USA, and has served as concertmaster of the Yale Philharmonia, Aspen Philharmonic Orchestra and Juilliard415, among other achievements.
