In the summer of 2013, music critic Elisa Birdeye reviewed “a remarkable concert” for the Boston Musical Intelligencer, after experiencing Aston Magna’s performance of music from the collection of Thomas Jefferson. That concert, “Music from the Library of Thomas Jefferson,” included Sharon Baker, soprano; Michael Sponseller, harpsichord; and Aston Magna’s Artistic Director, Daniel Stepner, on violin.

With reviews like these, 2014 will be a spectacular year. So, enjoy a look-back at 2013, as you plan your classical music tour of New England this year.

And of course, last year’s review begs the question: Which of Aston Magna’s 2014 concerts would Thomas Jefferson select to attend? All, we hope! From here you can launch to our 2014 calendar, and help jump start the Aston Magna 2014 season with your early ticket purchase.

We look forward to seeing you this year!
